History: Sector-6 has been operating in Dhaka since 2012.

Functional areas:  This unit has conducted numerous donor-based financial audits.

Activities:

1. All foreign aided projects of the Prime Minister Office, Cabinet Division, Anti- Corruption Commission, Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Law and Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Welfare, Ministry of Labor Welfare and Employment, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Textile and Jute, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information and Technology, Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment are audited.
2. Audit planning, Audit team formation, Audit supervision, Audit briefing etc of 50 auditable units. Relevant follow up after audit, QAC-1, broadsheet reply, issuing general and advance para, sending draft reports to report sector.
3. Participation in bi-party/ tri-party meetings.
4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report and sending to CA sector.
5. Performing administrative activities and other responsibilities imposed by higher authority
