History: Sector-2 has been operating in Dhaka since 1983.
Functional areas: This unit has conducted numerous donor-based financial audits.
Address: Foregin Aided Projects Audit Directorate (FAPAD), (6th Floor), Audit Complex, Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000.
Activities:
- All foreign aided projects of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science, Information and Communication Technology, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs and Ministry of Information are audited.
- Audit planning, Audit team formation, Audit supervision, Audit briefing etc of 50 auditable units. Relevant follow up after audit, QAC-1, broadsheet reply, issuing general and advance para, sending draft reports to report sector.
- Participation in bi-party/ tri-party meetings.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report and sending to CA sector.
- Performing administrative activities and other responsibilities imposed by higher authority
