History: Sector-4 has been operating in Dhaka since 1983.
Functional areas: This unit has conducted numerous donor-based financial audits.

Activities:
- All foreign aided projects of the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industries, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of Land, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Food and Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief are audited.
- Audit planning, Audit team formation, Audit supervision, Audit briefing etc of 50 auditable units. Relevant follow up after audit, QAC-1, broadsheet reply, issuing general and advance para, sending draft reports to report sector.
- Participation in bi-party/ tri-party meetings.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report and sending to CA sector.
- Performing administrative activities and other responsibilities imposed by higher authority
