History: Sector-5 has been operating in Dhaka since 2012.
Functional areas: This unit has conducted numerous donor-based financial audits.

Activities:
- All foreign aided projects of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Ministry of Roads Transport and Bridges, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Shipping and Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism are audited.
- Audit planning, Audit team formation, Audit supervision, Audit briefing etc of 50 auditable units. Relevant follow up after audit, QAC-1, broadsheet reply, issuing general and advance para, sending draft reports to report sector.
- Participation in bi-party/ tri-party meetings.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report and sending to CA sector.
- Performing administrative activities and other responsibilities imposed by higher authority
