History: Sector-3 has been operating in Dhaka since 1983.
Functional areas: This unit has conducted numerous donor-based financial audits.
Address: Foregin Aided Projects Audit Directorate (FAPAD), (6th Floor), Audit Complex, Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000.
Activities:
- All foreign aided projects of the Ministry of Power Energy and Mineral Resources (Including all its Divisions) are audited.
- Audit planning, Audit team formation, Audit supervision, Audit briefing etc of 50 auditable units. Relevant follow up after audit, QAC-1, broadsheet reply, issuing general and advance para, sending draft reports to report sector.
- Participation in bi-party/ tri-party meetings.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report and sending to CA sector.
- Performing administrative activities and other responsibilities imposed by higher authority
